I just started playing basketball, is Fusion the right thing for me?
I'm playing on an AAU team already, does that exclude me from participating with Fusion?
What if I can't make all the Development Workouts, can I still be a part of the program?
I really want to play basketball in college. Is East Coast Fusion the right place for me to play?
If you are willing to work hard and you want to improve, there is no better place to begin your basketball career than East Coast Fusion. You have the opportunity to learn the correct way to play before you learn any bad habits; you can't beat that.
Playing on another AAU team excludes you from trying out for a Fusion Travel Team, but you're still invited to attend the Development Workouts.
There are both good and bad summer camps out there. East Coast Fusion runs a camp in the summer, The East Coast Fusion Summer Boot Camp that is 2 1/2 days long. The camp is the best product at the best price around, and it teaches players skills for both on and off the court. There are other camps that Fusion would recommend, contact the Program Director for a list.
Fusion Development Workouts are free, you only have to sign an insurance waiver to participate.
Development Workouts are open to players every week, but they don't have to be there each week. Players that participate in at least 75% of the workouts over the course of the spring will receive an East Coast Fusion T-Shirt.
Need-based finiancial is available for qualifying Fusion Travel Team members. No qualified player will be turned away from East Coast Fusion because of a lack of money. Those players are expected to earn that aid through several fundraising efforts.
East Coast Fusion's goal is to help players achieve all of their goals. By players working hard to develop their game, combined with God-given talents and abilities, the sky is the limit. The U15, U16 and U17 Gold Teams play mostly in tournaments where college coaches and scouts are present evaluating players. East Coast Fusion's staff is also dedicated to helping spread the word about members of the program that want to play at the next level.
